A new year has begun and a new start has started. Today marks the day on our calendars where we mark our calendars and do what we want to do with them and we will if we will. We will win the future like we won the past, which is to say without batting a lash, for we cant bat what we cant bat.

So sometimes when I ramble and get really into what I am doing I have a feeling of flow or then again something else, something not the same as anything else, which is to say the way it is when it happens. Again with the words saying things that can't be said at all. But how is it that we can say things that mean all that we say they mean?

An absurdness proposition?

Once again we start where we left off before, you see if you stop to think for a moment you lose your flow and your flow is what you need to write, because it is what comes fast and what comes out when it has the chance. See when we do what we think we need to do we end up doing something else all together. What I mean to say is that things will happen the way they will, and we will let them happen that way.

The future is X-Rated!

Now what do we say is going to come as we looking into the future? Again with the future, whats wrong with right now, cause of course that is the only thing that matters right now, think about it. Its the only thing that you really have, there isn't anything else but what there is and that is only so much as what you can see out of it. Its probably all doing it this way because it is by itself in that this is the way things must be.

I think I'm out of line.

But that can't be true, how can you think you know what the future will bring if you really don't know what you are seeing now as you see it right now. See this is the point im trying to make, im trying to say that you can say what you say but mean what you want it to mean as something totally different from what you started with. Say you start a product, you build it to what you think you want to make it to be then presto, you change it - no one wants to buy a product they don't need. You must start again, you must pivot.

Get agile

If the game is always going then the controller is always in your hands, how can anything be the way that it will without your firm conscious direction. This is alway the way it is, if you are always adapting you are always moving on to something new, and something new is where you always want to be.

StartUp School is for fools

If you want to learn about doing a start up you got to work at one, thats really the only way you can do it, otherwise you are on to something else that is not a start up.

Listen but learn by doing

thoughts in the middle of the night

Can i be a man of many skills, is there such a think, could such a person ever really exists. Do i exist? Oh fail blog, how could i say such a unreasonable thing, such an unreasonable think to say. Once upon a time there was this place and there was this time and there were these people and they had to go to this place, where of course they were always meant to be there anyways.

Its funny how i can type thinking that spell check is on, then thinking that is off because i was doing so perfectly, but then i think that i thought i was doing bad and then that changed the way i did things. Which is to say that I didn't do them wrong, or more likely that i did them right.

Its probably good to separate our real selves and our work selfs from each other. I lost my point there so I shale digress or maybe start again.

To say that we know what we know we must know that we know what we know, but how can we know what we know if we only know what we think we know we don't know. The only really way to know is to constantly test ourselves. But how could we do such a think, how could we do anything, thats a better question. How can we do anything? Not just something specific, but something different all together.

Vim and vigor, that is what we say, we act like we know something that we don't really do.

The point here beyond any words is that we must do what we must do and there is nothing more. It maybe funny now, but one day you will see it come true and then you will know it was all meant to be this way.

I believe that I can do, therefore I can do.

random parties with random people

Time: A Saturday night during TIFF | Location: Condo on Front street, Toronto


Last night I was a little reluctant to go out and party with my friends, we had had such a night the night before and it was more then what I was usually used too. Partying is fun and all, but drinking and people can wear one down.

After meeting at our initial location, a friends condo, we drank and talked and listed to music videos on YouTube, its funny how instead of CDs or mp3s people listen to music on a website who's focus is suppose to be videos.

I like to talk to stranger, most people probably don't do this, but its a great way to get to know new people and learn new things, a core group of friends is good, but new knowledge and ideas seems to have to come from 'without'.

What did I learn, some people are open to talking to new people, some people like to answer questions and talk about themselves, some people are generally good people who are interested in learning and doing different things.

Then there is the other hand or the other people. I discovered that some people are self-important and uninterested in anything but their pride. These people are sure they are the 'best' and don't have any real value to add to conversation or situations.

Point being, talking to strangers can be eye opening and a great opportunity to find those people in the world go a genuinely good and helpful, even better there are more of the good people then the bad.

web intents and the future of the internet, this is how we move away from an internet to being in the internet, as if that were not already the case. To a new type of internet where everything is part of the internet, so we no longer even really use operating systems. We will have OS but they will be so much smaller and less specific, the web browser would be the new OS as it would be the place where configuration takes place. Native apps see to have passes as we moved along because the need for them went away when everything they could do only before was free range for any who was willing to try.

But oh yeah, you don't really have a choice anymore, because it has already begun, we have ordered it though our specialized processing skills. This of the new digital TVs with 'youtube' and 'pandora', these sites or apps are really just websites with intents, now instead of turning off the DVD player you simple have to turn off the 'NetFlicks'.

Its all an evolution of what will become of our internet of things, no longer is the internet a tool, it is the norm, and its integrated into everything we use. We are in the internet now, but as it moves away to a more specialized overtly distinctively niche marketplace we begin to wonder what its all about. Could this be something new that changed the way lives were experienced, but what would happen if no one could afford to use the internet tools that made life hard... Ok, maybe its all together something else, something new and meeh, I give up. Nothing is special anymore, its all this copies of copies, the new new is necessarily the same as what already was.

SO what has become of our internet, what will it be when we are done?

Hard work pays off!

So im sitting here, in my room, just spent the whole day reading a book on how to make Iphone apps, ironically or not so, I'm getting paid to do this, yes I know life can be really good sometimes. In the past, when I learnt to make Android apps it was on my own time, for no pay. I guess whats good about this is that its something that I want to do and am getting the opportunity to do because of work I've done in the past. The point is that hard work eventually does pay off, right now its not huge, but this is better then before, at least now I'm getting paid to do something I want to do and I'm not shoveling shit in a barn like last summer.

The Scarcity Effect

So luck has brought me to where i am right now and right here is a place i sort of always knew I'd be in. But its hard to say the way things will be, or the way things were?

Anyhow, to the point. I went to chapters to get a book on iPhone apps, the first book I found was the only one that was on the first wall, it was the best in my mind and i was sure it was the right one for me. Then after going around a corner there was a new shelf of books, these books were more in-depth and covered the subject more clearly... OK that last part is a lie, the real difference was that there were so many more books to choose from. Sure the first one was OK, but it was only OK because it was the only one, now with this more plentiful selection the first one became less special and I had to be critical of the whole bunch.

Anyways, now there were so many choices and i figured that since the last book i bought was good i should go with the same publisher / series.

Ajax Home Week's Million Dollar Fireworks

Time: June 19 at 10pm | Location: Lake Driveway, Ajax Ontario


If those fireworks were not really worth a million dollars, they where at least worth that much to me. The fireworks were so amazing and lasted almost 30 minutes. My mom said 'These must be the last ones' almost 6 times. It's spectacular how they just kept going every time. There were many different sounds, colours and patterns in the fireballs. My mom was impressed by the effects of the light on the smoke from the louder steamers.
